Background

This section of 149th Avenue has no sidewalks between Farmington Road and Watershed Lane. These improvements will complete a gap in sidewalks and allow for a safer, continuous path for pedestrians between Farmington Road and Division Street.

The 149th Avenue project is funded through the Road Fund which is an allocation of the State gas tax and fees.

Improvements include adding:

• Sidewalk on the east side of the street
• Improved stormwater drainage
